Description

The APAC/IMEA Regional Payroll Manager will coordinate payroll processing in the APAC/IMEA Region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will collaborate with departments to gather and validate payroll information, resolve discrepancies, and provide excellent service to employees. This role also involves crafting/improving processes, implementing operating procedures, improving data integrity, and using technologies to drive efficiencies, while guaranteeing adherence to laws. You will lead an organization and be hands-on to complete the work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a regional payroll team, setting high-reaching goals and strictly managing performance.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all Copeland employees in the APAC/IMEA region.
  • Ensure detailed accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies relating to payroll.
  • Coordinate and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and successfully implementing system upgrades and improvements.
  • Provide leadership and support for global work plans to guarantee compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in Payroll Service, technology, and service delivery, finding opportunities to improve our capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and industry trends, leading compliance with vital changes and standard methodologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information.
  • Guarantee adherence to internal and external audits, promoting integrity.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in payroll management and processing in India, the Philippines, and/or China.
  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Proven experience leading teams to achieve results in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll and time tracking systems, such as Workday, Kronos, Gaia, Ceridian Dayforce, and ADP Celergo, with experience implementing and handling payroll systems across countries.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communications in English.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down sophisticated topics for target audiences.
  • Ability to understand business priorities and align technology opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Demonstrate an elevated level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
