Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Local Director to lead our regional office operations in Manila. This role is integral to our strategic expansion, requiring a professional who can manage day-to-day operations, lead and develop local teams, and serve as the primary liaison between the regional office and our global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the local office’s operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the company’s global standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop local teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Implementation: Execute company strategies at the local level, adapting them to regional contexts and market dynamics.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the office’s budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the CEO on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing research to understand local market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with at least 3 years in a similar capacity overseeing office operations and team management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and make strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with local business practices and regulatory environments.
  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
