Professional Home Lead, responsible to lead, inspire & engage and coordinate various capability teams in Regional HR Hub. Deliver high quality, effective and efficient HR services with agreed KPI framework and ensure strategic alignment with organizational and functional objectives via engagement with key stakeholders.

Regional Hub Lead HR GBS Americas

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Member of global GBS HR Leadership team and reporting to Head of Global HR Operations
  • VACC Leadership for Regional HR Hub (capability cluster), incl. Co-creation and guidance on strategic direction, internal alignment & coordination of capability clusters (NorthAmerica, Norla, Conosur, Brazil)
  • Responsible for financial and resource frame of capability cluster, ensuring availability of suitable employees & capabilities
  • Drives HR transformation in GBS HR Hub Americas in close collaboration / partnership with regional HR community and in alignment with global transformation program
  • Accountable for delivery of high quality, effective and efficient HR services with agreed KPI framework for country clusters in region
  • Accountable for regional HR Stakeholder relationships incl. Understanding of business & country requirements to drive transformation of HR process (and IT) landscape
  • Strives for a ONE HR spirit by working in partnership & collaboration with the respective HR teams / leads to seek best results for Bayer, co-create a vision and joint outcomes.
  • Mentors, prioritizes and fosters team growth (within and beyond GBS) and leadership skills
  • Exemplifies VACC values in all interactions and decision-making processes, empowers and inspires teams to create & achieve joint outcomes
  • Member of local GBS Leadership team, incl. local/regional and global GBS activities such as employee attraction & engagement, internal & external center representation & activities

Qualification & Requirements

  • VACC-savvy Leadership with focus on people & transformation
  • Demonstrated capability of building effective teams/communities, talent recruitment and team engagement and development
  • Emotional intelligence & cross-cultural sensitivity in a global, diverse work environment
  • Proficient in communicating clearly and effectively, as well as active listening to understand team members’ perspectives.
  • Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skill incl ability to translate complex and ambiguous situations to broader team to engage, empower and instill action
  • Solid understanding of the end 2 end HR process and its value contribution within business context & strategy, opportunities & challenges, future trends and impacts.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills across cultures and hierarchies.
  • Fluent English, Spanish is a plus.
