Regional HR Shared Service Center Head

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Strategy

  • Work actively to manage and deliver HR Shared Services with responsibility for
  • Regional HR SSC located in Europe/ Americas/Asia
  • Direct overall operations across all SSC functions
  • Create shape of future Regional SSC direction and strategy development in cooperation and alignment of Regional HR Responsible, Global HR SSC Head, SC Management Team and Centers of Expertise
  • Coordinate middle and long-term goals of the Regional SSC, develop and implement a strategy to achieve them

Leadership

  • Responsible for Employees within Regional SSC. Create an environment where all Employees are engaged and constantly learning
  • Perform a key role in leadership, coaching, driving engagement, diversity and mentoring efforts

Communication, Enablement & Stakeholders

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with the internal and external partners
  • Lead innovation and drive the change in a positive way, always challenging the status quo while actively developing the team to perform at its best
  • Cooperate with SSC Management Team, is responsible for the preparation and planning of the annual budget for the Regional SSC in alignment with Global HR SSC Head and Regional HR Responsible

SSC Performance & Efficiency

  • Deliver SLAs/KPIs and improve effectiveness, efficiency and quality of the operations for all HR processes each year
  • Ensure adherence to global and regional guidelines, processes and methodologies within the Regional SSC
  • Responsible that all legal requirements will be fulfilled and adhered to, and the activities within the regional HR SSC will be executed in a fully compliant and Audit proof way

Qualification & Requirements

  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in the area of HR services including, managerial experience in SSC/BPO or HR Operations
  • Experience in a global company (multi-sited) with exposure to leading edge HR practices
  • Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Experienced with Success Factors, PeopleDoc, SAP HR and ticketing systems would be an advantage
  • Fluent English, additional language will be beneficial (e.g., German)
  • Leadership skills with intercultural and diverse teams
  • Running HR services migration strategies, participating in knowledge shadowing, migration, and successful transfer of administrative work to HR Service Centers
