Description
We are hiring a Regional O2C Lead who will handle (North Africa, Turkey and Europe) for a very well known multinational FMCG company located in New Cairo.
Key Responsibilities
O2C Operations Management
- Oversee and ensure effective delivery of the following O2C processes: Demand Capture, Billing and Invoicing, Payment Application, Credit Analysis, Claims and Deductions Management, Collections, Reference Data Management and Customer Solutions and Sales Support
Service Delivery & Performance Management
- Monitor and improve key O2C performance indicators such as:
- Invoice accuracy
- Demand capture accuracy
- DSO and collection effectiveness
- Write-offs and deductions management
- Reference data accuracy
- Drive improvements in end-to-end O2C KPIs.
- Ensure cost-efficient operations and high service quality.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff.
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular coaching and development discussions.
- Build a strong talent pipeline and succession planning for the team.
Process Improvement & Change Management
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence in O2C activities.
- Work closely with IBS, IT teams, and market stakeholders to enhance processes.
- Support the implementation of organizational changes and operational transitions.
- Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are implemented.
- Oversee internal and external audits and address findings.
- Maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensure regular testing.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, banks, customers, and third-party collection agencies.
- Participate in governance meetings and expert networks.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Overall 8+ years of experience and a 3–5 years of leadership experience managing teams.
- 5+ years of work experience with SAP ERP
- Strong experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience in process improvement, project management, or operational transitions.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Strong expertise in O2C operations and process management.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to lead teams and deliver results in a complex organization.
- Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
