Description
We are seeking a skilled Master Data Manager to lead and oversee our Master Data Shared Services team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of master data across domains, including customer, vendor, material, and chart of accounts. The position focuses on driving operational excellence, efficiency, and automation in a shared services setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data management, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to supporting organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Master Data team to maintain data accuracy, cleanliness, and integrity across key domains.
- Establish and enforce data governance principles, policies, and quality standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, focusing on automation and efficiency to reduce costs.
- Monitor master data quality metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with business leaders, data stewards, and other stakeholders to align master data strategies with organizational objectives.
- Address escalated inquiries and disputes related to master data, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Support external audit efforts by providing master data insights and ensuring data integrity.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading master data teams in a shared services environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems and data structures.
- Proven ability to improve processes and leverage technology for operational efficiencies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, and stewardship principles.
