s is a global leadership role within the Record-to-Report (RTR) function. You will be responsible for overseeing all RTR processes, advising on complex accounting and country financial controlling matters, managing external audits, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and BPO partners. As a central financial contact for CFOs and senior business leaders, you will report directly to the GBS Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse finance team across General Ledger, Intercompany, Supply Chain / Cost Accounting, Treasury Operations, and Country / Cluster Financial Controllers, managing 6–8 direct reports and up to 80+ professionals across multiple locations
- Drive team performance and growth through clear goal-setting, regular feedback, targeted development plans, and tailored training in core accounting areas
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across business units and support functions to ensure alignment and high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate closely with senior finance leaders, including the CFO, regional Finance Heads, and the Corporate Controller, to support strategic initiatives and ensure consistency in RTR processes
- Provide expert guidance on accounting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS, and Corporate Financial Instructions, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting
- Oversee financial controls and audit readiness, including SOX compliance, risk identification, KPI tracking, and timely reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L items
- Lead change and continuous improvement efforts within RTR, including support for global transformation projects such as SAP S/4HANA implementation and quality assurance initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Financial Reporting and General Accounting, including at least 3 years managing large and complex teams.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with hands-on experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP Financials and Controlling.
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods or manufacturing industries preferred; exposure to GBS, Shared Services, or BPO environments is an advantage.
- Proven collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate across functions and geographies.
- Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is a strong asset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Occasional work travel may be part of the position.
