R2R SME, CHINA

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, standardize and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in record-to-report, included but not limited with banking, fixed assets, payroll and shared services accounting processes in the region
  • Perform Trial Balance analysis and ensure TB correctness before GL module closure
  • Run all periodic processes related to R2R and general financial accounting, including month-end activities, account reconciliations, periodic reporting, metrics, governance and internal control
  • Maintain R2R and general financial accounting related internal controls within the region; ensure robust account reconciliations and SOX compliance
  • Maintain thorough and current understanding of GAAP. Keep abreast of emerging accounting and reporting standards. Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and new finance system
  • Communicate and collaborate routinely with finance colleagues at regional levels, providing direction related to key processes and related changes, the sharing of best practices and keeping them abreast of initiatives that have a global impact

Qualification & Requirements

  • 8 years relevant professional accounting experience in multinational company.
  • Knowledge and experience with US-GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and IT-PC literate
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong communication skills, team player
