Description

We are seeking an experienced AMAT SSC Travel & Expense Manager to lead and inspire our Travel and expense administration team in the Shared Services center. This role involves the administration of the Concur expense solution and partner with management in maintaining accurate Corporate Card policy and ensuring adherence to it. The T&E program manager will be a key player within the large integration project of North America regions into the Shared Services as well as the implementation of strong centralized T&E policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will drive processes improvement and automation while focusing on enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire, motivate, and drive the T&E team to deliver results-driven execution of shared services responsibilities and continuously improve processes and efficiency.
  • Ensure key performance indicators and service level agreements for the T&E team are per expectation and proactively take actions to improve performance as appropriate.
  • Sustain a culture of continuous improvement to deliver effective and efficient travel and expense administration.
  • Manage the T&E team’s compliance with the overall SSC team’s policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Manage and assign responsibilities across the T&E team to meet business needs and review reporting on expense reimbursement activities to identify discrepancies.
  • Seek feedback from sub teams and customers regarding training needs, suggested policies and procedures updates to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with T&E tools and platforms.
  • Coordinate with teams at the various localized operating companies as required.
  • Respond to escalated expense reimbursement-related inquiries.
  • Support external audit efforts between the T&E team and the external audit firm.
  • Build and enhance a strong team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business.
  • Influence and negotiate with a wide range of audiences, internally and externally.
  • Remain abreast of best practices and trends relevant to corporate card administration, shared services, and related technologies.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Strong experience with Concur, T&E analyst or administrator.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in working within Corporate Card functions in a Shared Services.
  • Proven track record in delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Concur administration.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset.
  • Familiarity designing and standardizing processes, preferably transactional activities (e.g., expense reimbursements approvals, reporting and analysis, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of the building products/construction industry preferred
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities from various stakeholders and make decisions while maintaining collaborative culture.
  • Solution-oriented consensus builder, and trusted partner across the organization
