Description

The Integrated Global Services P2P Senior Manager – Americas will be responsible for overseeing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) value stream within the IGS. This role is based out of our Guadalajara IGS location and will be supporting a culture of operational and service delivery excellence focusing on quality, compliance and performance. This role involves leading directly and indirectly multiple teams within the value stream, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving service excellence / process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, accounts payable, and shared services operations. As a senior leader, this position will be accountable for shaping the future of P2P, driving high-value projects, and establishing strong partnerships across the procurement COE, finance functions, manufacturing and other global business units.

Key Responsibilities

People Management

  • Oversee multiple functions in IGS that services multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead teams in line with Ingredion’s Vision and to meet or exceed goals and objectives
  • Drive employee engagement and implement relevant programs
  • Ensure that teams are continuously developing capabilities in skills to focus on continuous improvement within the P2P value stream
  • Ensure Individual Development plans are in place for the team members to progress in their career aspirations – Ensure that team members are regularly maintaining required capabilities/skills required for the roles
  • Hire, Train and Direct Team members – Conduct required performance management
  • Support Safety requirements and initiatives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

IGS P2P process leadership

  • Lead global transformation efforts to enhance the IGS P2P processes, aligning it with industry best practices, digital transformation strategies, and business needs.
  • Drive alignment with Key Business Partners and cross-functional teams to integrate P2P into broader company goals and strategies.
  • Oversee the performance of the end-to-end P2P process, including procurement, purchase order management, invoice processing, payment execution and all related controls.
  • Standardize and streamline end-to-end P2P processes across all regions, ensuring alignment with compliance and corporate governance.
  • Implement innovative process improvements leveraging digital tools to increase efficiency and drive improved process performance.
  • Govern and maintain P2P process documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Lead the deployment of P2P solution implementation (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Concur, Esker) in conjunction with the COE and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure the continuous improvement and performance of P2P platforms.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for critical issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support and coordinate audit requirements as required
  • Ensure a robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes including SOX requirements, regular audits and other statutory requirements of the local markets within the P2P area
  • Ensure that monthly MORs are conducted with key business partners to manage performance of processes, projects and gain alignment on new initiatives

Finance Management

  • Ensure the center remains efficient and operates within budget parameters and productivity targets driving continuous improvement culture supported by the IGS Global PMO Team
  • Create and present strategies, budgets, business plans and results to IGS Leadership
  • Identify and implement process improvements to capture value and generate savings
  • Ensure that business cases are completed for all new Roles and all organizational changes are rationalized

Service Level Agreements & Performance Management

  • Evaluate performance of the IGS Center against Service level agreements and KPI Benchmarks, required process and controls compliance with internal and external stakeholders and drives continuous improvement
  • Monitor and ensure that productivity measures are benchmarked, and the site meets or exceeds agreed Key Performance Indicators
  • Lead data-driven decision-making by analyzing trends, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, or shared services operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of P2P processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead successful P2P process improvements and manage change.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ARIBA, Esker), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English language (written and spoken)
