Description
Growing shared services center located in the heart of Midtown OKC is adding a Payroll Manager to their team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing payroll processes for a growing organization. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process for a approximately 400-500 employees using NetSuite, ensuring payroll accuracy and timeliness.
- Process standard payroll deductions and taxes, ensuring compliance with workers’ compensation requirements, federal tax regulations, and state tax regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact on payroll-related matters, including resolving discrepancies or employee inquiries.
- Handle payroll reporting and maintain accurate records for audits and internal reviews.
- Position expected to evolve into assisting with higher-level organizational functions.
Qualification & Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, federal/state tax guidelines, and workers’ compensation reporting.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred, not required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll supervisory/managerial/director role
- Proficiency in 401k – RRSP Administration
- Strong knowledge of Benefit Functions
- Experience with NetSuite
- Ability to handle bi-Monthly Payroll
- Possession of a Certified Payroll Detail Oriented (CPP) certification
- Proven experience in Full Cycle Payroll
- Experience in managing Payroll for 101 – 500 Employees
- Familiarity with Payroll – Garnishments
- Strong understanding of Payroll Functions
- Proficiency in Payroll Tax Reporting
- Good knowledge of Payroll Taxes
- Experience in processing Biweekly Payroll
