Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an experienced marketing leader to lead and deliver strategic marketing initiatives across the APAC and Middle East regions. This leadership role is accountable for all external market promotions and campaign delivery within the region. It ensures regional campaigns and marketing programs are strategically planned and executed effectively, while building and managing high-performing teams that deliver measurable and impactful business and marketing outcomes. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of corporate marketing experience, with a strong background in global marketing strategies and campaigns, team leadership, and senior stakeholder management. Experience within professional services and in a matrixed organization with multiple divisions and business units is required.

Marketing Lead, APAC & Middle East – Global Capability Center

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall performance, capability, and delivery of the regional campaigns function across APAC (including Southeast Asia, Australia, India, and other markets) and the Middle East. All regional campaign team managers’ report into this role, and the Regional Lead ensures they operate as true owners; fully accountable for their teams’ plans, execution, and outcomes.
  • Lead the performance management for direct reports and regional team, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning. Actively identify and develop future campaign leaders, providing ongoing guidance and feedback tailored to individual needs to drive continuous learning, stretch growth, and impact. Support both global and local hiring and onboarding of new employees, leveraging global onboarding processes and content materials.
  • Maintain regular communication with other Regional Leads in the Americas and Europe to share best practices, drive consistency, and foster cross-region collaboration; ensuring teams operate as a cohesive global organization. This role is intentionally non-siloed and closely aligned with the global marketing team to support local teams, uphold global priorities, and deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Leverage global team and resource model to deliver on priorities and campaigns for the region. Monitor regional requests in Salesforce at a regular cadence, ensure they are accurately recorded, being maintained and routed appropriately across the team. Continuously assess team utilization and responsibilities, implementing adjustments as needed.
  • Own marketing strategies and plans for specific business units or regions. Develop integrated strategies, plans, and assets; launch across A&M channels including social media, website, email, and internal communications. Maintain visibility into team-developed strategies and ensure proper processes for creation, review, and execution.
  • Manage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including Managing Directors, Regional Operations Leaders, Business Unit leaders, Go-to-Market leaders, and Department Heads. Build trusted relationships, act as a strategic advisor, and anticipate and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Help identify effective promotional strategies and tactics – analyze regional campaign performance, maintain dashboards to extract actionable insights, and ensure teams adapt plans based on data to drive continuous improvement. Explore new channels, pilot tactics, and innovate to maximize impact.
  • Help develop and evolve our global marketing support model in current and future global capability centers. Evaluate asset quality and delivery in close partnership with Design and Content Production leads; provide constructive, actionable feedback; and ensure standards are consistently met, and continuously improved.
  • Enforce global processes and best practices, ensuring compliance. Contribute to developing and rolling out new processes, as needed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage marketing technology – including self-service tools, AI and automation, and platforms to improve efficiency and campaign effectiveness. Stay well-versed in global nd regional legal, regulatory and A&M policies and requirements, including GDPR and local cultural norms.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on B2B marketing strategy, campaign execution, and stakeholder management. Experience within professional services is highly required.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing marketing teams and working with senior executives in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and multi-channel campaign execution, including paid media, social, CRM, and events.
  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, and website CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal).
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse campaign performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and influence decision-making at all levels.
