Description

FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an experienced Manager, Shared Services to join the Shared Services team for FanDuel Sports Network. Reporting to the VP, Shared Services, this role will oversee the shared services team and work cross functionally to implement automation and improve processes within the function.

Manager, Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the shared services team to ensure timely and accurate customer service.
  • Analyze process to identify opportunities for automation and implement and manage these initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Power BI skills to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Manage multiple projects with various teams, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain high standards of service quality.
  • Review and document current processes by creating process maps and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and close entries.
  • Assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable partners with quarterly reports including analytical and/or KPI reports.
  • Maintain aging, payment, and T&E dashboards to support quarterly reporting and identify business trends.
  • Handle all ad hoc requests from multiple stakeholders.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in shared services, process automation, and project management.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role within a large organization.
  • Knowledge of other business intelligence tools and software.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
