As the Manager, Group Accounting Operations & Shared Services Centre, you will be at the forefront of our financial transformation. You will partner with key stakeholders to deliver world-class accounting services, ensure financial accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in our finance and accounting processes. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing our shared services model, enhancing cost efficiency, and ensuring high-quality financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering Best-in-Class Financial Operations

  • Lead and optimize the Group Accounting Operations & Shared Services (GAOS) function, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison between our external partners (e.g., GAD) and internal finance teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
  • Drive key financial KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and budget compliance to maintain world-class standards.
  • Monitor and approve partner resource planning, costs, and budget allocations.
  • Act as the focal point for issue resolution and escalation, ensuring quick and effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to refine workflows, improve operational metrics, and implement industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of process developers focused on O2C (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), and R2R (Record-to-Report) functions.
  • Strengthen internal controls to mitigate transaction risks and financial exposure.

Standardization & Future-Ready Operations

  • Champion simplification, standardization, and digitization of financial processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of accounting policies, driving alignment across systems and teams.
  • Develop and monitor Master/Transitory Service Agreements (MSA/TSA) with structured reporting mechanisms and meaningful metrics.

What You Bring

  • Global expertise in managing finance and accounting operations in a shared services or BPO environment.
  • Deep understanding of O2C, S2P, and R2R processes within an international setting, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven success in leading F&A transitions, managing large-scale change initiatives, and implementing best-in-class service models.
  • A data-driven mindset, leveraging KPIs to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong track record in business process improvement, policy development, and achieving operational excellence.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles within a global organization.
