Description
We have an exciting role that provides functional support for the Cognos Analytics platform with respect to reporting and analytics. The candidate must be system savvy along with excellent communication skills and finance knowledge. The candidate should maintain and improves the corporate reporting platform, provides support for the global user base, and provides project management and governance for ongoing operations.
Shift: 2:00PM – 11:00PM
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage project management skills to drive reporting and analytics solutions
- Liaise with and influence key stakeholders and business partners
- Collaborate with business partners in the development of reports, analytics, and dashboards
- Own user’s requirements and ensure that these are met from design through delivery
- Support the user community to deliver training and address questions/issues
- Provide valuable insight and new ideas that drive the continuous improvement in how we operate and deliver for our users
- Improve upon existing project/program management processes and governance
- Collaborate with technical resources on system related issues and initiatives
- Operate in global accounting shared service environments to maintain reporting standards
- Maintain internal operations and change control documentation
- Global Business Leaders
- CFOs
- Finance Controllers of Global Agencies across various geographies.
- The candidate will also work directly with users to understand their business requirements and translate them into the necessary reports and analytics to enhance the business.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a services-based business – Advertising a plus
- Experience with reporting, analytics, data warehousing, or financial systems projects
- Demonstrable project/program management experience in a mid/large size company, with a proven record of successful delivery, working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Ability to convey complex concepts in a concise, understandable manner
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team while dealing with high levels of ambiguity
- Proven capability working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives
