Manager, Delivery Engineering Asset and Inventory Management

Key Responsibilities

Asset Governance and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement robust governance frameworks for APIs, libraries, toolkits, and other critical assets.
  • Formulate strategies to optimize asset usage, maintenance, and retirement based on organizational goals.

Technical Debt Management:

  • Lead efforts to identify, prioritize, and manage technical, quality, and security debts.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Engineering to establish plans for debt reduction and prevention.

Microservices and Shared Services Oversight:

  • Provide leadership in managing the lifecycle of microservices and shared services.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in design, development, and maintenance.

Inventory Tracking and Documentation:

  • Establish comprehensive inventory tracking systems for all engineering assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for APIs, libraries, and other critical assets.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster collaboration between engineering teams to share assets and promote reusability.
  • Communicate asset management strategies and updates effectively across the organization.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Extensive experience in engineering asset management, with a focus on APIs, libraries, and microservices.
  • Familiarity on CMDBs
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes.
  • Proven leadership skills in driving asset governance and optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • With coding and scripting experience
  • Preferred with DevSecOps Experience
