Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Business Operations strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.

The Global Learning Services team is a team of experts that helps talent and learning through global Services such as Content design & development, Learning Operations and Learning Delivery Management.

The Global Learning Services is facing the 3 main learning segments, Upskilling / Reskilling, License to Operate and GTMC

Learning Design & Development Head – Customer Facing

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile with a growth mindset; leads and embraces change and innovation and proven records for efficiency and business improvements.
  • Build effective, collaborative working relationships with relevant senior leadership representatives, site leaders, and subject matter experts to understand and continually re-evaluate organizational learning and content development needs to ensure they are aligned with business need
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the function to ensure processes and practices are continually reviewed and lessons learned lead to change and best practice.
  • Coordinate and manage staffing of Learning Design and Development Hub
  • Arbitrate on annual delivery plan and associated resourcing plan for Learning Design and Development
  • Leading the governance body including the 3 main learning segments to determine and validate the content development priorities
  • Manage Learning Design and Development Hub budget and MSP, in collaboration with Learning Services Portfolio Planning Lead. Make data-driven recommendations during budget setting to ensure the most effective allocation of resources and return on investment.
  • Monitor design and development service quality in line with Sanofi standards and performance targets
  • Build a positive, collaborative and results-driven team dynamic and culture
  • Build and create robust methods for tracking, reporting, evaluating and analyzing performance of the function and the effectiveness of the services it delivers.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human resources/ business administration/ information technology or other related fields.
  • 11+ years of experience in learning processes and system administration.
  • Shared services center and vendor management experience.
  • Significant previous experience of leading a Learning and Development and Talent Management Function
  • A high performing, target driven individual who is passionate about delivering an outstanding employee experience.
