Description
IT EMEA GBS Supervisor monitors projects progress and communicates to project team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and clarify project scope with project managers
- Identify resources required with project managers
- Coordinate IT GBS EMEA team’s activities, assign work to team members
- Organize team work and set deadlines to achieve targets
- Follow and drive project managers to develop and maintain project plans as per PLMC
- Manage project risks and escalate as required, on time.
- Monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiate corrective action where necessary
- Apply change control as required
- Report on project progress, communication with project team & stakeholders
- Drive project administration with project managers
- Oracle and Manufacturing Systems knowledge: IT EMEA GBS Supervisor will continuously develop his/her knowledge of SANM Corporate systems in order to be able to manage changes around those.
- Business process knowledge: IT EMEA GBS Supervisor will need to continuously develop his business process knowledge and will be asked to do Business Analyst/Project manager activities for some projects/as required.
- Business System knowledge: The IT EMEA GBS Supervisor will need to keep increasing his knowledge about business systems used in the company and will try as much as possible to stay informed about all business processes changes decided within the company and new technologies used in SANM.
- Teamwork: The IT EMEA GBS Supervisor is expected to lead team members both internally and when liaising with colleagues in other plants/regions. It may also be required to liaise closely with customers to communicate about SANM’s systems capability or if required discuss the integration of customers systems with SANM’s.
Qualification & Requirements
- Good positive manner and behave in a professional and acceptable fashion
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant, Engineering or Computer Sciences discipline
- Driving license and a current full passport
- Good command of English; further language skills would also be a benefit
- Good communicator with the ability to work at all levels in a positive and constructive manner
- Flexible with respect to working hours and foreign travel, on the basis that overtime is expected and allowed for in the employee salary
- Organizational and leadership skills
- At least 8 years work experience in manufacturing environment
