Description
Assist in the design and implementation of the global Financial Shared Services center.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement effective core accounting (A/R, A/P, G/L, and Payroll) and finance processes and activities that are US GAAP compliant.
- Manage tax compliance and transfer pricing for India entity
- Grow and manage a team of direct reports to run the shared service center.
- Develop, implement and maintain system of effective internal controls within the India entity.
- Configure NetSuite for India to handle localized tax and Statutory reporting.
- Ensure that month end close of the shared service center is completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in recruiting, motivating and developing talent within the India finance team
Qualification & Requirements
- Chartered Accountant, ICWA or an MBA in finance from a reputed university with at least 15 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of financial shared service operations
- Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is mandatory, including optimizing India legal entity for both US GAAP and India Tax and Statutory reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required
- Prior experience with Governmental Accounting is desirable; thought not required
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
