As the HR Manager – Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing a centralized, efficient, and high-impact HR Shared Services function, while driving integration and standardization. Your role is crucial in building a robust HR foundation that enables business growth through operational excellence, process efficiency, and effective cross-BU collaboration.

You will shape the employee experience, optimize HR processes through technology, and champion organizational agility.

This role is ideal for a results-driven HR leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Human Resources Shared Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy, Synergy & Transformation:

  • Develop, standardize and implement HR policies, procedures and standards and shared services to create efficiency and productivity across all entities
  • Collaborate with senior management and BUs’ leaders to align HR strategies with the group’s business goals
  • Support the transformation and optimization of HR services delivery model
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience

HR Operations Excellence and Integration:

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, L&D, C&B and HR administration, ensuring quality service delivery across all BUs
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Standardize HR processes across BUs
  • Create shared talent pools & implement cross-BU mobility programs
  • Facilitate cross-BU mobility programs and integrated performance management systems
  • Manage the development and maintenance of HR metrics and KPIs, providing regular HR reports and dashboards

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

  • Oversee recruitment coordination & workforce mobility, ensuring smooth talent flow across BUs
  • Standardize recruitment processes and employer branding initiatives
  • Collaborate with BU HR teams to forecast hiring needs and resource allocation
  • Track recruitment KPIs, optimize cost-per-hire, and improve hiring efficiency
  • Support employer branding initiatives

People Development (L&D):

  • Oversee the design and delivery of training programs, career development frameworks, and leadership development
  • Coordinate cross-BU learning initiatives to build a future-ready workforce
  • Maintain and oversee Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Support employee engagement strategies to enhance workforce retention and productivity

Internal Communication & Culture Development:

  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives that foster a positive work environment
  • Foster a culture of collaboration across BUs
  • Create cross-functional teams and projects
  • Develop integrated communication channels
  • Build common cultural foundations
  • Drive engagement across units
  • Support change management and transformation projects
  • Guide employer branding and internal communications efforts

Compensation & Benefits (C&B):

  • Supervise the design, implementation and administration of salary structures, payroll and benefits programmes to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness
  • Ensure accurate and timely compensation processing
  • Monitor C&B budget and expenses
  • Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices within the group
  • Coordinate with Finance for budgeting and forecasting, as well as to optimize compensation budgeting and cost control

Team Management & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Shared Service team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture
  • Manage workload allocation and ensure efficient team performance
  • Build strong relationships with BUs leaders
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Drive performance improvement
  • Act as a key liaison between Group HR and BU HR teams, ensuring smooth alignment of HR initiatives

Qualification & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in HR/ MBA is a plus
  • 8 – 12 years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in HR leadership role
  • Experience in multi-unit businesses, preferably in retail/ premium services
  • Strong experience in HR process optimization, compliance and service delivery
  • Background in HR transformation projects is preferred
  • Experience with HRIS implementation and HR technology is preferred
