Your primary objective is to ensure that the company operates smoothly by effectively handling employee-related matters and providing support in various administrative areas.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
- Recruitment and onboarding: Overseeing the hiring process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating new employee orientations.
- Employee relations: Managing employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Performance management: Implementing performance evaluation systems, providing feedback to employees, and developing improvement plans.
- Training and development: Identifying training needs, organizing training programs, and promoting professional development opportunities.
- Compensation and benefits: Administering payroll, managing employee benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Policy development: Developing and updating HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
Administrative Functions
- Facilities management: Overseeing office space, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Administrative support: Providing assistance to employees and managers with various administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, expense management, and scheduling.
- Records management: Maintaining employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and confidential information, in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Health and safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing appropriate measures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Vendor management: Managing relationships with external service providers and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring service quality.
- Budgeting and reporting: Participating in the development of HR and administrative budgets, tracking expenses, and generating reports for management.
Compliance and Legal Matters
- Staying up-to-date with PH labor laws and DOLE regulations to ensure compliance in all HR and administrative practices.
- Handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Managing employee documentation, such as contracts, confidentiality agreements, and legal notices.
Qualification & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is commonly preferred.
- 10 years of experience in HR and administrative roles required
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of PH local labor laws, DOLE regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address employee issues and provide guidance on complex HR matters.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as facilities management, budgeting, vendor management, and records keeping.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to implement and promote a safe working environment.
- Experience in leading and managing an HR and administrative team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
- Strong leadership skills to drive HR initiatives, influence stakeholders, and implement organizational strategies.
- Preferably with background in BPO, RPO or Staffing Industry
