Description

The HRIS & Shared Services Leader is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for the design, governance, and performance of the HR technology ecosystem and shared services operations in a high growth, multi state environment. This role oversees HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP), case management tools (e.g., Deskpro, MeBeBot, etc.), service center operations, HR data and analytics, and workforce planning and modeling. This leader ensures that HR systems, processes, and data enable a world class employee experience, operational excellence, and trusted insights, while maintaining rigorous controls, privacy, and regulatory compliance. They will drive AI adoption and automation to improve quality, cycle time, user experience, and reporting; partner with HR centers of excellence, IT, Finance, Corporate Development, and second/third line functions; and serve as a key point of contact with regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a multi-year HRIS & Shared Services strategy aligned to organizational goals and workforce needs.
  • Ensures HR processes, records, and audits comply with local, state, federal, and provincial requirements; maintain comprehensive documentation and controls.
  • Designs the HR service delivery model (processes, staffing, SLAs, knowledge management) to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality support across a multi-state footprint.
  • Partners with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into measurable HR operational and technology outcomes, informed by metrics and insights.
  • Owns the architecture, roadmap, and governance of HCM platforms (ADP, Deskpro, MeBeBot, etc.), including configuration, integrations, releases, and change controls. Directs system administration, access management, and data security to align with internal controls, privacy requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Evaluates and drives adoption of HR tech modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Time, Benefits, Learning) and adjacent tools to optimize the HR ecosystem.
  • Implements and optimizes case management platforms (Deskpro, MeBeBot, etc.) to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and increase employee satisfaction.
  • Expands self-service and knowledge management, ensuring accurate, accessible content and continuous improvement of service channels.
  • Designs and deploys AI-enabled capabilities (chatbots, intelligent routing, generative content, process automation, predictive analytics) to improve quality, speed, and consistency of HR services. Establishes guardrails for responsible AI use, including bias, privacy, and security considerations, measure impact on user experience and operational metrics.
  • Owns HR data governance: standards, data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and stewardship across systems and integrations.

Qualification & Requirements

Minimum

  • 8 years of experience leading HR Programs, Operations, and HRIS Systems
  • Previous experience as a People Leader for large organization

Preferred

  • 10+ years of experience leading HR Programs, Operations, and HRIS Systems
  • Knowledge of HR functions, processes, information systems, policies, compliance requirements and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and maintain HRIS system configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing upgrades, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity – ADP, Workday, UKG, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, HR business partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to achieve common objectives and address HR-related needs
