Description

We are currently seeking a highly experienced HR Shared Services Manager for the EMEA region. This pivotal role involves leading a team of HR professionals and driving HR operations across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shared Services, able to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities with teams in multiple locations and have an HRSS background within a large, matrixed or conglomerate organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of HR Shared Services professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures – leading the team in providing timely, accurate, and high-quality services to employees. Meet KPIs and SLAs consistently.
  • Oversee the delivery of comprehensive HR services including onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, payroll support, and handling employee inquiries through various channels.
  • Continuously review and improve HR service delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline processes to increase productivity.
  • Work closely with HRIS teams to ensure system functionality aligns with service needs.
  • Ensure HR shared services comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including regional requirements. Implement actions to improve performance and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for senior leadership regarding HR service-related matters and regional escalations. Develop documentation on processes with control mechanisms to eliminate errors.
  • Act as a liaison for HR stakeholders across various countries, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the region.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Over 10 years of overall HR experience, including 4–5 years in a managerial capacity
  • Proven background in Shared Services within a large, matrixed, or conglomerate organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Experience in managing HR operations across multiple geographies.
  • Proficient in HRIS and familiar with implementing system changes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle complex queries and tasks.
  • Experience of HR Legislation across different countries
  • Experience of managing cultural differences across different countries
