HR Shared Services Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the HR leader by driving the client’s strategy to support the organization’s goals and objectives while ensuring alignment with global standards and practices.
  • Manage and lead the HR Operations and Services, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and HR Technology.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and regulations while managing relationships with government agencies to mitigate risks and maintain the organization’s license to operate.
  • Identify and assess efficiency opportunities to further improve HR operational processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring the organization’s sustainability and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR and administration team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management and global counterparts, to provide insights and recommendations that drive informed decision-making and enhance organizational performance.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in HR in a shared service environment
  • Experience as an HR Lead in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment
  • Experience leading GBS Talent Acquisition HR Operations (compensation and benefits, absence management, call center, talent acquisition), with a regional or global scope
  • Experience in managing vendors and government relations
  • At least 12+ years of experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions within HR working in a shared service organization serving US business units (preferred)
  • Workday, UKG, and ServiceNow experience (preferred)
  • Experience leading large teams and multiple levels of leaders (preferred)
