Description

The Manager, HR Operations is responsible for overseeing the delivery of innovative, customer-centric, consistent, and compliant HR Solutions. This role ensures seamless and efficient HR processes across the employee lifecycle by collaborating with the HR team and payroll. It focuses on problem-solving, driving data-driven and process-oriented projects, and enhancing the overall employee experience through continuous improvement in HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Oversee and optimize HR operations by managing and documenting processes, communications, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and HR strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, communicate HRIS system capabilities and limitations, and propose innovative solutions to improve people operations
  • Lead initiatives to automate processes, reduce cycle times, address employee pain points, and drive measurable improvements in employee satisfaction
  • Provide recommendations on policies and core business processes to mitigate legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Partner with the HR team to support key functions such as onboarding, career development, performance management, promotions, and terminations
  • Ensure timely completion of required state and federal reporting
  • Collaborate with HRIS to test and analyze system configurations, ensuring alignment with business requirements during implementations, updates, and ongoing administration
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on HR business processes, working with the HRIS team to address data maintenance issues, conduct testing, and provide research-based insights
  • Lead a team in delivering and executing HR operations and solutions

Collaboration, Communication, and Compliance

  • Develop and review internal communications related to HR Solutions, working closely with Corporate Communications, Total Rewards, Legal, and other strategic stakeholders
  • Ensure strict compliance and control across all HR policies, programs, procedures, and transactions in alignment with government regulations, with a particular focus on payroll requirements
  • Advocate for scalable solutions that can be implemented across the Americas where applicable
  • Oversee HR shared services functions and maintain accurate documentation
  • Contribute to the development and configuration of the new HRIS system while optimizing current processes
  • Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to monitor regulatory changes and prepare the organization for timely compliance with government reporting requirements

Qualification & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in human resources, management, business, or a related field

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR business partner functions
  • 3+ years of experience managing people and/or teams

Languages

  • Spanish – Preferred, not required

Software/Technical Skills

  • HRIS experience (organization is migrating Workday to Ceridian Dayforce)

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to grow and deliver new HR processes where needed including but not limited to onboarding, movement, offboarding, and other various milestones in the employee lifecycle.
  • Highly skilled at process improvement, project management, and data management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to quickly pivot when needed.
