Description

HireIO is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager (HRM) to lead and manage HR operations as an individual contributor. This role reports directly to an executive and is responsible for handling key HR functions and shared services, including office support, administration, and business partner tasks. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as Gusto, ADP, or similar platforms, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. This position will also provide strategic HR support and collaborate closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations:

  • Manage the end-to-end HR processes, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, as an individual contributor
  • Utilize HRIS platforms such as Gusto, ADP, and other systems to manage payroll, benefits, employee data, and reporting
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives and foster a positive workplace culture

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Lead onboarding processes, ensuring new hires integrate smoothly and effectively
  • Assist managers with performance reviews, career development initiatives, and succession planning

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues
  • Manage employee grievances, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions
  • Promote employee engagement and foster a culture of recognition and development

HR Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure HR policies are effectively communicated and adhered to
  • Track and analyze HR metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership

Shared Services and Office Administration:

  • Oversee shared services functions, including office administration, facilities management, and vendor relations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations and efficient use of resources
  • Provide business partner support to different teams, helping align HR practices with business strategies

HRIS and Systems Management:

  • Manage and optimize HRIS systems such as Gusto and ADP for payroll, benefits, and employee data management
  • Ensure HR technology tools are utilized to streamline processes and enhance HR service delivery
  • Troubleshoot issues with HR systems and ensure smooth operation and integration of HR technology

Business Partner Role:

  • Act as a business partner to leadership, providing HR insights and data to inform decision-making
  • Support business growth and operational effectiveness by aligning HR functions with company goals
  • Lead initiatives related to organizational development, change management, and process optimization

Qualification & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on HRIS systems like Gusto, ADP, and others
  • Proven ability to manage HR operations as an individual contributor with direct reporting to executive leadership

Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency with HRIS platforms (Gusto, ADP, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with executive teams
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English
