Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead and evolve the Human Resources function within our fast-paced BPO organization. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of HR strategies that align with business objectives, support a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance across a global workforce. This role requires deep expertise in employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and HR operations within a large-scale, client-facing service environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to support growth, retention, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational planning, workforce design, and change management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, productivity, and cultural alignment across diverse teams.
  • Implement performance management frameworks that promote accountability and professional development.
  • Champion leadership development, succession planning, and training programs to build internal capabilities.
  • Ensure consistent and legally compliant handling of employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Lead HR operations including policy development, compensation and benefits administration, HRIS management, and payroll alignment.
  • Lead HR compliance efforts from the ground up, including participation in entity establishment and development of all policies, procedures, and operational frameworks required for legal and regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction.
  • Ensure the organization remains fully compliant with all labor laws, employment standards, health and safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements across all operating locations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with evolving legal standards, operational needs, and best practices—ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across departments.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in local employment legislation, updating internal practices accordingly and communicating policy changes clearly to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary HR liaison during labor inspections, client audits, third-party compliance reviews, and internal/external audits related to HR practices or data protection.
  • Conduct regular internal HR audits and risk assessments to proactively identify gaps, reduce risk exposure, and maintain compliance readiness.
  • Partner with Legal, Operations, and cross-functional teams to resolve employment-related legal issues, regulatory challenges, or disputes in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Streamline HR processes through automation and use of HR technologies.
  • Foster a people-first culture that embraces diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
  • Lead communication strategies and engagement programs to promote employee satisfaction and retention.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field is highly preferred.
  • 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a BPO or high-volume service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, with experience managing global or regional HR functions.
  • Proven track record in talent development, organizational design, and culture-building.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, UKG,) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Must have a strong internet connection with the ability to support multiple online systems/applications
  • Availability: Full-time position with weekdays, weekends, and nighttime availability
