Description

The HR Director will lead the HR function within the shared services company and provide strategic HR advice, guidance and leadership on HR matters to the Earlham Institute (EI), John Innes Centre (JIC), and Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB), as well as the shared services provided by the NBI Partnership (NBIP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support delivery of NBI’s scientific vision.
  • Lead change and organisational development delivering agile, compliant and effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance to senior management and board members on all aspects of HR, including employee relations, reward, and performance management.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of core HR processes, policies, and compliance across the organisations.
  • Manage, develop and motivate a team of experienced HR professionals
  • Contribute as a member of the senior management team

Qualification & Requirements

The HR Director position is a demanding role, and the successful applicant will need proven strategic and commercial HR experience, ideally from a similar background. You will also need to have a degree, CIPD qualification, and experience of compensation and benefits.
