Description

The purpose of this role is to strategically lead the Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management & Sourcing, and Programs and Projects for GSC. This involves designing and implementing comprehensive rewards strategies, recruitment processes, and performance enhancement programs that align with business needs, HR strategy, industry best practices, and legal requirements. By fostering an integrated approach, the role aims to attract, retain, and develop talent while ensuring HR effectiveness and informed decision-making for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Talent

  • Define short to mid-term regional Talent Management & Sourcing (TM&S) strategy, including elements such as frameworks, integration with other processes, key initiatives and budgets
  • Track progress to review implementation of TM&S strategy and plans
  • Introduce and steer innovation across TM&S processes, systems and products in line with group standards increasing effectiveness
  • Lead and support talent brokerage and cross-divisional talent exchange
  • Ensure understanding and delivery of Executive/Employees Development Reviews (EDR) and facilitate EDR’s for senior Business Managers
  • Provide Executive feedback and coaching
  • Develop functional career frameworks ensuring global consistency within own business
  • Ensure succession pipeline analytics and workforce planning, ensuring alignment between data requirements and assessments with overall workforce planning needs
  • Oversee employee assessment and selection processes and manage selection for senior positions
  • Anticipate and translate strategic, complex changes to define new HR information management system requirements

Compensation & Benefits

  • Define short to mid-term Rewards strategy for the region, including setting philosophy, programs, policies and budgets
  • Review implementation of Rewards strategy, Compensation & Benefits (C&B) programs and reward policies that are aligned with the company’s business objectives for all staff levels
  • Oversee analysis of legislative, market and actuarial trends and projections
  • Ensure market transparency and positioning of remuneration packages according to the HR Strategy
  • Supervise job analysis and evaluation, analysis of C&B surveys, preparation of C&B proposals and budgets
  • Design C&B related business intelligence, taking business strategies into account
  • Manage policies for a global workforce in order to attract people to work in different locations to support business requirement

HR Program & Projects

  • Monitor HR organization, HR performance, HR scorecard and reporting to identify trends/ warning signs and recommend corrective actions
  • Leverage HR IT and enhance HR data management including data quality, coverage and analytics to enable informed business decisions

Management Responsibility

  • Will have 2 to 3 professionals reporting to this role

Qualification & Requirements

Required

  • Graduate (in any discipline) and/or post-graduate in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of relevant HR experience preferably in MNC and/or BPO setting
  • Extensive experience in Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, and HR program management, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to define and implement effective TM&S and Rewards strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide coaching and feedback to executives and senior managers.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data management tools to enhance HR analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and results.
  • Capability to introduce and drive innovative HR processes and systems that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong aptitude for identifying trends and issues, recommending corrective actions, and making informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to anticipate and respond to complex changes in the business environment and workforce needs.
  • Understanding of global HR practices and local legislation to effectively manage a diverse workforce.
