Description
We are M&G Global Services Private Limited (formerly known as 10FA India Private Limited, and prior to that Prudential Global Services Private Limited). We are a fully owned subsidiary of the M&G group of companies, operating as a Global Capability Centre providing a range of value adding services to the Group since 2003.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Partner closely with the Group CPO to develop and execute the global procurement strategy, translating it into a clear India roadmap.
- Define and articulate a compelling vision for the India procurement team aligned to global procurement priorities
- Act as a thought partner on future procurement capabilities, including digital procurement, AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
Global Stakeholder Management
- Serve as an interface between global business leaders, regional procurement teams
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Ensure clear service expectations, governance routines, and performance transparency for all supported businesses.
- Proactively manage stakeholder risk, escalations, and service dependencies.
Operational Excellence & Delivery
- Be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of procurement services from India, ensuring quality, consistency, timeliness, and compliance.
- Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and outcomes aligned to global procurement goals.
- Oversee and report on capacity management of the team
- Drive standardisation, process optimisation, and continuous improvement across procurement workflows.
- Be responsible for global Procurement controls, risk management, and adherence to group procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
People Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, develop, and inspire a ~25 FTE procurement team, including managers and specialist roles.
- Build a high‑performance culture with strong accountability, collaboration, and learning.
- Drive capability uplift across strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, data/analytics, and commercial skills.
- Own succession planning, talent development, and engagement for the procurement team.
Transformation, Digital & Value Creation
- Champion procurement transformation initiatives, including: Digital procurement tools and platforms, Data‑driven decision making and spend analytics, Automation of transactional processes
- Drive measurable value outcomes (cost savings, risk reduction, supplier performance improvement).
- Support ESG, responsible sourcing, and supplier diversity initiatives where applicable.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure procurement operations meet internal governance standards, audit expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with risk, legal, and finance teams to ensure contractual, supplier, and third‑party risk is effectively managed.
- Embed strong documentation, reporting, and control discipline across the India based team.
Leadership & Influence
- Executive‑level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global environment.
- Strong people leadership with a track record of building mature, scalable teams.
- Gravitas to represent India at senior procurement and business forums.
Procurement & Commercial Acumen
- Deep understanding of global procurement operating models, category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation capability, and value‑creation mindset.
- Experience balancing cost, risk, resilience, and service outcomes.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking
- Ability to think end‑to‑end: from enterprise strategy to on‑the‑ground execution.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to drive decisions and influence.
- Experience shaping roadmaps, operating models, and transformation initiatives.
Change & Transformation
- Proven experience leading procurement or shared‑services transformation.
- Exposure to digital procurement platforms, analytics, automation, or AI‑enabled tools
- Ability to bring teams and stakeholders through change with clarity and credibility.
Qualification & Requirements
Essential Experience
- 20+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related commercial roles.
- Proven experience leading large procurement teams (preferably 20+ headcount).
- Experience of working in for a leading Global Capability Center / Shared Services organisation
- Strong exposure to global stakeholders and multi‑region operations.
- Prior role at Director / Head of Procurement or equivalent senior leadership position.
- Industry experience within financial / professional services, technology, or regulated environments
- Experience driving procurement maturity journeys (from transactional to strategic/value‑led).
Education
- Graduation (either in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Management Studies, etc.) is a must
- A diploma in supply management, finance, or business or MBA would be preferred
- Certifications from Procurement domain (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, SCPC, CSCM, CIPP, CPP, CPOS, CPOP, CPOM, CPOE) would be an advantage
