Description

The Head of Technology Delivery for LPL Global Business Services will be a senior technology leader responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of global technology functions from Hyderabad, scaling the India Technology capability into a world-class hub for engineering excellence, data, and AI innovation.

This leader will combine strong technology depth with delivery discipline, ensuring alignment with LPL’s global strategy while fostering trust and collaboration with global product and business leaders. He/ She will focus on building and inspiring top engineering talent, instilling a culture of innovation and execution, and positioning India as a strategic driver of LPL’s technology transformation.

With a proven track record in scaling global technology delivery with deep expertise in modern engineering, cloud, data, and AI platforms, this leader will also have the vision and leadership maturity to grow into a future site head, representing India as a strategic partner in LPL’s mission to enable financial freedom for investors and advisors.

This leader will strengthen the center’s role in advancing modernization of LPL’s platforms, embedding engineering rigor, cloud first strategies, and AI driven capabilities into products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead world-class technology delivery

  • Oversee delivery of enterprise grade technology solutions across LPL’s business lines including advisory platforms, trading systems, client-facing applications, and data platforms.
  • Establish strong operating rhythms between onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless collaboration, shared accountability, and predictable outcomes.
  • Implement risk frameworks for delivery disruption, including redundancy, resilience testing, and disaster recovery programs.
  • Ensure service levels for uptime, reliability, and customer experience meet or exceed global benchmarks

Attract and retain top technology talent

  • Build a strong employer brand for LPL India to attract top tier technology talent in cloud engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture with recognition frameworks and leadership development pipelines.
  • Drive succession planning for critical roles, ensuring resilience in leadership and delivery capabilities.

Strategic Technology Leadership

  • Define and execute a multi year technology roadmap aligned with LPL’s vision of being the most trusted leader in wealth advisory technology.
  • Champion Innovation
  • Keep LPL abreast with industry trends and advancements in wealth advisory technology.
  • Provide strategic direction for all technology and product initiatives, ensuring alignment with global standards and local market needs.
  • Collaborate with LPL’s global teams to ensure India is a strategic location for next-generation products.

Maintain High Standards Of Data Integrity And Security

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technology and product-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data privacy concerns, and regulatory compliance, ensuring robust governance frameworks are in place.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for security by design and operational resilience.

Drive a Culture Of Continuous Improvement

  • Create and execute strategic programs for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Integrate automation best practices from industry and accelerate adoption of agile development methodologies

Financial Stewardship And Resource Optimization

  • Manage comprehensive budgets for technology and product development.
  • Ensuring financial discipline and implement cost-optimization levers such as cloud cost governance, vendor negotiations, and right-shoring strategies.
  • Ensure maximum return on investment (ROI) through disciplined portfolio management and alignment of spend with business priorities.

  • Skilled at embedding governance, risk management, and compliance practices seamlessly into the delivery model.

Technology Depth

  • Strong expertise in new age technology products, including digital platforms and modern architectures.
  • Building and managing scalable, high-quality data models; enabling data driven decision making and personalization at scale.
  • Solid grounding in data security and privacy protocols, with hands-on experience embedding contemporary cybersecurity practices into product development.

  • Experience working in the US market or within an MNC headquartered in the US, with a strong understanding of global organizational dynamics.
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple geographies, leading diverse, multicultural teams and delivering solutions for global stakeholders.
