We’re looking for a Head of Strategy & Operations to solve the toughest problems while we expand our global fintech into the Philippines. Someone to roll up their sleeves and dive into every area of our business to help millions of customers worldwide.

Head of Strategy & Operations – Philippines

Key Responsibilities

  • Being an entrepreneurial agent of Revolut, project-managing work-flow to launch Revolut, and setting up a new office in the Philippines
  • Scoping the Philippines for Revolut to enter and then being the driving force behind executing on entry and implementation strategy
  • Achieving product market fit and driving P&L
  • Developing strategic partnerships with regulators, key operational, and growth partners in the Philippines
  • Executing scale operations and working with cross-functional teams in London and our global offices
  • Identifying key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities for Revolut
  • Working closely with the Global Authorisations (Licensing) team to deliver on Revolut’s ability to operate with a licence in the Philippines
  • Hiring a superstar team by end of year 1 to build a foundation for the official launch and beyond
  • Building critical vendor relationships and performance tracking systems

Qualification & Requirements

What you’ll need 

  • The ability to spot opportunities for Revolut to snap up
  • Familiarity with the competitive financial and technological landscape in the Philippines
  • Organisational and project management skills, and a natural ability to break big tasks into smaller sub-tasks that can be tracked
  • 7+ years experience in consulting, regulatory analysis, expansion, fast-growing start-ups, or similar
  • Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A discerning ability to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • A team player attitude to collaborate closely with others and deliver results
  • An ability to manage and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • To think and reason logically and work empathetically
  • An eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
  • To be proactive and willing to volunteer to do what needs to be done

Nice to have

  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • A network of leaders in start-up, finance, regulatory, and public affairs to tap into
  • A background in finance or fintech
  • A successful track record of building businesses
  • Experience in a leadership position (COO, CFO, President, SVP, Country Head, etc.) at a successful start-up in the Philippines
