Description
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury Operations teams, ensuring there is seamless transactional finance operations across the group.
This is a business-critical leadership role, responsible for enhancing financial control, optimising technology, and improving processes to support long-term growth and efficiency.
There is also scope to bring other Group transactional processes into the remit of the role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global team of approximately 20 people in AP, AR, and Treasury Operations. You will set the vision, drive performance, and develop a high-performing team.
- You will identify and implement automation and other efficiency opportunities to further streamline finance operations, whilst ensuring controls are robust and operating effectively.
- You will minimise debtor days and overdue debts, whilst ensuing suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
- As a key business partner, and you will work with senior stakeholders and other senior finance heads to deliver transactional finance results, resolve problems, and drive financial performance.
- You will ensure that all financial transactions comply with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- You will successfully manage the month-end close processes, including transferring invoices and cash receipts to the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Lead the shared services response to audit and accounting questions, concerns, and inquiries.
Qualification & Requirements
- Experience leading Accounts Receivable and Payable teams in a global company
- Strong influencing skills, across functions, countries, and cultures
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience of leading and delivering finance change projects
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana would be highly beneficial
