Description

The Head of Shared Services is responsible for leading and managing the shared services function within the organization. This role involves overseeing key support functions such as HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other administrative services, ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence. The incumbent will drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in service delivery while aligning shared services with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the shared services strategy in alignment with the organization’s objectives.
  • Service Delivery Management: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other shared services to internal stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Technology & Automation: Leverage technology and automation to improve service efficiency and accuracy.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements across all shared service functions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and align shared services to support business growth.
  • Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure and improve service quality.
  • Change Management: Drive transformation initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing shared services team.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience in shared services or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of finance, HR, IT, procurement, and administrative functions.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing budgets and cost-control measures
