Description

As part of this evolution, the organization is looking to appoint a new Head of Shared Services Centre in Warsaw, a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for the centre’s performance, people and future development.

This role reports directly to the Group VP of Global Business Services, based at the company’s headquarters.

This is a strategic opportunity to lead a 150+ person team across Finance, HR, and additional services to come, shaping an agile, digital, and scalable SSC that supports the broader business transformation agenda.

Head of Shared Service Center

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SSC organization in Warsaw with full responsibility for service delivery, performance (KPIs, SLAs, OPEX) and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Translate the company’s GBS vision into operational reality – aligning people, processes and systems around shared goals
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of trust, psychological safety, accountability and internal mobility
  • Drive efficiency and scalability through process standardization, continuous improvement and digital tools (ERP, RPA, AI)
  • Act as a strategic partner to global stakeholders and internal customers, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs
  • Manage service transitions, integrations and migrations while safeguarding operational continuity and change readiness
  • Shape and position the SSC as a centre of opportunity and talent development within the wider group structure

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading large-scale Shared Services or GBS operations in international, matrix organizations
  • Strong experience in finance service delivery, with transformation and automation exposure (ERP, RPA, digital tools)
  • A leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in dynamic, changing environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, across corporate HQ and functional leadership levels
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience and a growth mindset – passionate about people, talent and collaboration
  • Fluency in Polish and English is a must; understanding of the Polish SSC landscape is an advantage
