Description

The BBT Group Trier Region facilitates close collaboration and networking among all BBT facilities in the Trier area, with over 3,200 employees. It includes the Trier Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy, the Schönfelderhof facilities of the Brothers of Mercy, the senior centers in Trier and Alf, the medical care centers in Trier, and the St. Martin Trier nursing home. For the BBT Group at the Trier location, we are seeking a SHARED SERVICE CENTER MANAGER (m/f/d) to begin as soon as possible.

Head of Shared Service Center

Key Responsibilities

  • You will assume the strategic and operational management of the Shared Service Center Remuneration and manage the efficient use of human and technical resources
  • You are responsible for the secure, timely and legally compliant payroll accounting, taking into account all relevant labor, collective bargaining, tax and social security law requirements
  • They ensure a consistently high level of service quality and ensure that all billing-related processes – including certificates, notifications and interfaces – function smoothly
  • You will take over the professional management of a growing, multi-member, cross-regional team, actively promote the development of your employees and create a high-performance and motivating team culture
  • You will drive the further expansion of your department, participate in the recruitment of new employees and ensure structured training and sustainable integration of new team members
  • You will actively participate in audits, annual financial statements and, if necessary, take on operational tasks, especially during busy periods
  • You are the central contact person for the management, directorates, executives and regional HR managers and maintain regular, proactive exchanges both digitally and in person on site
  • You advise the management on the introduction of new financial incentive systems and employee benefits and accompany their implementation
  • You will support the introduction as well as the continuous development and review of all specific payroll processes and systems

Qualification & Requirements

  • You have a degree in business administration, human resources management or a comparable field
  • Ideally, you have additional qualifications in payroll accounting, personnel controlling or certified further training in payroll
  • You have several years of solid professional and management experience in payroll accounting, ideally in collective bargaining companies or healthcare facilities
  • You lead with clarity and empathy, promote a culture of collaboration and personal responsibility, and attach great importance to the individual development of your employees
  • You have sound specialist knowledge of wage tax, social security, labor and collective bargaining law
  • You have a thorough understanding of digital HR systems – knowledge of LOGA is desirable – and impress with a strong understanding of processes and analytical thinking
  • You have strong communication skills and a willingness to travel in order to exchange ideas with HR managers in the respective regions
