Description
A leading global industrial group is seeking a commercially astute and operationally excellent Vice President, Global Shared Business Services, EMEA to lead the next phase of its regional transformation. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a business at the forefront of digital and operational change.
This strategic leadership role reports directly to the Global Senior Executive VP and is responsible for overseeing Finance, Payroll, and Customer Services across the EMEA region. You will lead a multi-functional, multi-location organization, drive integration and service optimization, and ensure alignment with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Shared Service Centre operations across EMEA, delivering a consistent and efficient service across multiple business entities and geographies.
- Shape and execute the EMEA SSC strategy, in close partnership with senior global and regional stakeholders.
- Direct and optimise shared services operations with a focus on financial integrity, automation and scalability.
- Manage complex transitions of services into the SSC model, including integration and process standardisation.
- Build a strong leadership team and foster a culture of collaboration, agility and service excellence.
Qualification & Requirements
We’re looking for an exceptional business leader with deep expertise in financial operations and a proven track record in strategic, multi-entity leadership. You’ll need:
- A strong foundation in financial operations, with hands-on experience overseeing end-to-end processes across finance and related service lines.
- Current leadership of a large-scale, multi-location shared services or business operations function.
- Expertise in transformation, change management and stakeholder engagement across complex global structures.
- Experience scaling and optimising shared service centres, with a sharp focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level across international markets.
