Description
As a modern and future-oriented energy supplier, we offer energy services, technical services and telecommunications products in addition to the classic areas of electricity, gas and water. We advise and support our customers on issues relating to renewable and environmentally friendly energy generation, technical services and installations as well as tailor-made supply solutions, also in combination with innovative and intelligent future technologies. For our new Shared Service department, we are looking for a department manager (M/F/D) as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the cross-sector operational and strategic management of all billing, feed-in (renewable energies), market communication and grid balancing processes including receivables management
- Monitoring and optimization of the respective process chains, including current and prospective opportunities for digitalization, with a particular focus on process automation
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting regimes and compliance with the requirements of the legislator and regulators in accordance with all deadlines and specifications
- Timely delivery of valid data in the context of annual financial statements, monitoring, internal reporting and business and investment planning
- Development of competencies and skills of employees in the department as well as strengthening the basis of trust, establishing a positive leadership culture and promoting willingness to cooperate, knowledge transfer and team spirit
- Further development of the billing system and performance of the client role vis-à-vis the billing service provider including performance monitoring
- Responsible participation and sub-project management in the migration of the billing system to the future target structure
Qualification & Requirements
- Independent and precise working style as well as a high degree of empathy and a pronounced “hands-on mentality”
- Several years of proven professional experience in a comparable disciplinary and professional management position
- Successfully completed technical or commercial degree or completed commercial training as well as further training as a specialist in energy management or comparable IT-related qualification
