Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? We’re seeking an experienced professional with excellent analytical skills to lead our RTR Team in GBS. If you’re passionate about developing and executing the strategic vision for the RTR Tower, experienced leader, and you are a self-starter who wants to utilize own finance experience in a fast-paced environment – we want to hear from you!
Head of RTR in GBS role offers the unique opportunity to lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals, drive RTR process redesign as part of NextGen Finance Project, work on the process optimization and performance management, collaborate globally with many strategic stakeholders and drive change management.
This is a high-visibility role, with critical impact on the global business and company’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to a team of R2R professionals based in Poland, India and China.
- Set high standards for performance and professionalism, and promote a positive work environment that values teamwork, innovation, and personal growth.
- Delegate responsibilities and empower team members to take ownership of their work, while providing mentorship and development opportunities to facilitate their professional growth.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across different functions and geographies, leveraging the collective expertise and capabilities of the team to drive results.
- Drive R2R process redesign as part of NextGen Finance Project working in collaboration with the R2R workstream lead, Project Management Office and other parts of the Programme improving finance scalability and driving cost efficiency across of the R2R organization.
- Be hands on in fixing the known problems and inefficiencies in R2R process as well as implementing best practices.
- Oversee all aspects and manage the end-to-end R2R process ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Drive improvements in the processes, optimise operations and achieve efficiencies resulting headcount optimisation, improvement in quality and allowing scalability.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of R2R and monitor performance against targets.
- Collaborate closely with heads of other GBS towers and other internal stakeholders, including finance, commercial, operations, and business units, to understand their needs and priorities.
- Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, providing guidance and expertise on R2R matters.
- Lead change initiatives within the R2R Tower, driving adoption of new processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within GBS in R2R process tower within a global organization.
- In-depth knowledge of R2R processes.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving process optimization and delivering measurable results in R2R.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Certifications such as ACCA, CPA, etc. are a plus.
