Description
Lead the end‑to‑end recruitment strategy and delivery for Jefferies India GCC. Build a high‑performing recruiting function that supports fast paced, compliant, and cost‑effective growth whilst serving as a trusted advisor to technology leadership on Pune market dynamics and trends.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy & Delivery
- Own the India GCC talent acquisition strategy and annual hiring plan.
- Design scalable processes and reporting.
- Build agile sourcing channels and drive high quality lateral candidate pipelines.
- Local oversight and engagement in campus hiring programs for entry roles.
- Advise hiring managers on GCC hiring best practices.
- Design and continuously refine the end‑to‑end candidate journey, embedding local market expectations, and using candidate feedback metrics to inform process improvements.
- Manage and own the delivery of leadership requisitions and additoinal requisitions as required.
- Oversee team offer approvals and ensure appropriately benchmarked to local market.
- Close partnership with HR business partners and HR Operations to achieve the GCC talent acquisition strategy and to ensure that the brand that is promised during hiring is realized during onboarding.
Team Leadership
- Provide training, guidance, and leadership to the GCC recruitment team (recruiters & coordinators).
- Run weekly one to ones, driving performance and retention of team members.
- Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence & Engagement
- Stay up to date on GCC best practices on processes, talent engagement and employee branding and share insights back to leadership.
- Recommend partnerships with tech communities, industry associations and networks and manage relationships accordingly.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Global Technology leaders to forecast demand and align on hiring strategies.
- Partner with local GCC technology leads to drive hiring.
- Share regular updates and communication with US & local leadership.
Governance & Compliance
- Drive end to end process governance, ensuring readiness for annual India audit.
- Operationalize local employment requirements relevant to Pune.
- Implement and track recruitment performance.
- Lead preparation for the annual India HR internal audit for items related to Pune and the GCC.
Vendor & Agency Management
- Select and manage recruitment vendors, negotiate commercials, and onboard with procurement/legal.
- Govern agency usage approvals, assessing when to go to market and the best agency to support.
Qualification & Requirements
- Extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, with experience leading recruiting teams for India GCCs/Global Services/Technology centers.
- Proven delivery of 200+ annual hires across Tech & Corporate portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of Pune labor/regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management; demonstrable experience of close partnership with global technology stakeholders as well as with HRBP’s/Compliance/Legal/Procurement.
- Preferable experience of Campus and early‑career pipeline building for a GCC.
