Description
GBS PS (Project Management Services & Transformations) mission is to support organizations in terms of advisory, management and implementation of transformation projects, including M&A, process optimization, and digitalization, on a global level. We bridge the gap between a conceptual strategic consulting approach and hands‑on operational implementation to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Head of Project Services & Transformations (PS) WEA, you develop and drive a business strategy for profitable growth, combining it with action plans for sustainable improvement. With your extensive expertise and a holistic consulting approach, you will help our clients effectively implement and further develop our service offerings.
- You will consult with executives, department heads, and various key stakeholders to align goals, make improvements, and strategize.
- You coordinate sales activities locally / regionally and with HQ function.
- You need to predict and identify the skills matrices the team will require to meet customer demand, effectively maintain the proper utilization of the team members.
- You enable the culture of trust and high-performance by motivating the full potential of the team and assisting in their professional growth.
- You will influence and leverage collaboration within a globally networked organization to deliver competitive offerings to customers.
- You must review business related financial reports and take appropriate actions to meet the business targets.
- Through continuous analysis, you will identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and the quality of methods and processes used.
- As an advocate for our Global Business Service, you will identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth and evolution of our service offerings.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or related field is required, Master’s degree in Business or related field is a plus.
- You have > 10 years of extensive knowledge and experience in managing large complex projects, in consulting, and/or service business.
- You have experience in leading/coaching a team of direct reports.
- You have deep analytical skills.
- Ideally, you already have Siemens and/or industry (consulting) experience, and you are able to articulate trends and potential, clearly and confidently.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all management levels.
- You are flexible and open to travel domestic or international up to 20%
- You are experienced in both traditional and agile project management methodologies and ideally hold relevant certifications (e.g., PM@Siemens, IPMA, PMI, Prince2, Scrum, or SAFe).
- You are proactive, quality-driven, results-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is essential, German would be a plus.
