Description
Key Responsibilities
- In addition to being responsible for approximately 2,500 payrolls in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, you will also operationally manage the payroll for top management and the HR department, and be personally available to employees for questions regarding their payroll.
- In addition to being responsible for approximately 2,500 payrolls in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, you will also operationally manage the payroll for top management and the HR department, and be personally available to employees for questions regarding their payroll.
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as the finance department, for account reconciliations and the creation of provisions, the IT department, regarding master data and identity management, as well as with the external actuary, in all matters relating to company pension schemes (direct commitment, UVA, pensioners), is a matter of course for you.
- You are very knowledgeable about all relevant tax and legal issues and also ensure the communication within the company of changes in laws or company policies that affect payroll.
- The preparation and support of tax and social security audits, the provision of data for audits and internal/external reviews, as well as the comprehensive preparation and support of external and internal audits are in the best hands with you.
- You are also operationally responsible for the technical execution/creation of the monthly payroll, including all subsequent activities, the creation of transfer files, and the monitoring of payments.
Qualification & Requirements
- A completed degree in business administration or commercial training with additional training as a human resources specialist or a comparable qualification
- Several years of management and professional experience in payroll accounting/administration and human resources management
- Outstanding leadership qualities, communication skills, and pronounced empathy and assertiveness
- Solid SAP HR knowledge (Key User)
- Sound experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel,
- Ideally process and system knowledge of Workday HR processes,
- An independent, structured and meticulous work style
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken).
