Key Responsibilities

Shared Services & Operational Excellence

• Enhance our shared services function, ensuring efficiency in finance, legal, HR, marketing, and other cross-company operations.
• Develop and manage key business scorecards, financial reporting structures, and KPI dashboards.
• Standardize operational processes to enable scalability and better decision-making.

Growth Strategy

• Define and execute high-priority strategic initiatives across our portfolio.
• Develop and implement frameworks for evaluating investment opportunities, business performance, and operational improvements.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform executive decision-making and business planning.
• Work closely with the leadership of our three verticals (studio, real estate, and hospitality) to provide financial modeling, market research, and strategic analysis.
• Drive accountability and alignment between Philo’s investments, helping portfolio companies optimize their strategies.
• Support capital allocation decisions by analyzing return profiles and operational impact across initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Prepare and deliver reports for investors, board members, and external stakeholders.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, investor updates, and executive team meetings.
• Develop communication strategies for sharing insights and progress across the organization.

Qualification & Requirements

• Experience: 4–7+ years in strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), investment banking, or private equity; experience in venture capital or startups is a plus.
• Education: MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Skillset:
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
  • Deep strategic thinking with a bias toward execution.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
