Head of Legal – Shared Service

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the creation and execution of an LSS plan that complements the Law Department’s worldwide strategy
  • Ensure the development and implementation of operational frameworks, procedures, guidelines, and team culture
  • Monitor the identification and distribution of resources, including budgetary control, hiring personnel, and equipment requirements.
  • Encourage team members’ professional growth and training to improve their abilities and understanding of basic legal issues
  • Work together with relevant stakeholders to address any organizational, operational, or complex problems that may come up inside the team or between the team and other parties.
  • Delivering frequent reports and updates on the effectiveness and development of LSS to the Head of LCG Strategy & Operations and any other pertinent senior management or stakeholders
  • Create and preserve a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee LSS’s budget and financial performance, making sure it is cost-effective and financially sustainable.

Qualification & Requirements

  • A degree in law or related field
  • At least 10 years’ experience in legal operations and management
  • With experience building a legal shared services is an advantage
  • With experience in legal process operations and transformation is a plus
  • Willing to work on a flexible working schedule
