This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast, successful and changing business where you will have key responsibility for the HR Operational Service Centre as part of the senior HR management team.

This role will also offer strong scope for your own continued career development within the broader HR leadership structure.

Head of HR Shared Services HR Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of a large HR operational centre, with 8 direct reports
  • Your teams will manage all aspects of HR services for a large employee base, and oversee the HR intranet self service, and chat functions.
  • The post holder will have responsibility for on going operational and process improvement, as well as the day to day transactional management. It is critical that candidates have a strong track record of working in environments where you have found the balance between being highly automated and fully process driven and where relationship and stakeholder management are key to delivering results.
  • Critical will be your ability to not just provide day to day management, but to provide real leadership and be able to create innovating solutions. The post holder will have several direct reports plus a wider HR team.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading HR Operations or Shared Services teams and driving process improvements within a large company
  • Degree educated or equivalent vocational level of education
  • Experience of managing multiple service lines
  • Strong people management skills
  • Experience of driving and managing change within a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Experience of Successfactors, workday or other similar HR people system
