Description

The University of St Andrews is currently going through an exciting period of transformation within its HR function, and to support this we are seeking to appoint an experienced and visionary professional to take on the newly created role of Head of HR Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the development and delivery of a new Shared Services model covering payroll, HR systems and data, reporting and analytics, and employee lifecycle support. With a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and operational excellence, you will champion digital transformation, standardisation of processes, and a service culture that enhances the employee experience across all touchpoints.

We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative leader who can build trust with senior stakeholders, lead change with confidence, and empower teams to deliver impactful results. You’ll bring a blend of strategic insight and operational rigour, combined with a passion for driving innovation in a complex and people-centred environment.
