Key Responsibilities
For our Business Area OESL, we are looking for a Head of HR Services Delivery EMEA (m/f/d) with the following responsibilities:
Management of HR services and BPO governance
- Main liaison with the BPO provider in the region to ensure seamless HR, payroll and contract management.
- Defining, monitoring, and continuously improving service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics with the BPO provider.
- Supervision of HR Service Delivery Specialists at the locations who are responsible for monitoring all provider services and obligations at their respective locations.
- Ensuring compliance with the obligations set out in the BPO service agreement and addressing any service gaps.
Management of internal HR operations
- Manage HR services for locations outside the BPO area, ensuring standardization and process efficiency.
- Lead a team responsible for managing HR data, time tracking, and payroll or BPOs.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Payroll Shared Services team to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate service delivery.
- Development and implementation of best practices for operational excellence in HR services.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high employee satisfaction.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure that all personnel policies, payroll, and employment contracts comply with local labor laws and company standards.
- Monitoring compliance with contractual obligations and ensuring compliance with service agreements
- Working with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks related to HR data security, GDPR and other regulations.
Digital transformation & implementation of a global HCM solution
- Lead and support the implementation of a global digital HCM solution and subsequent smooth adoption and integration into HR operations.
- Identify and utilize automation and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
- Cross-functional collaboration with IT, HR and business leaders to ensure that digital HR solutions support overall business goals.
- Ensuring that workforce data is accurate and accessible to enable data-driven decision-making.
The activity can be carried out at the locations Hannover or Karben
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human resources management, accounting, finance, law, business administration or a related field.
- Several years of experience in management positions in HR shared services, HR operations or supplier management.
- Strong experience in supplier management with knowledge of monitoring supplier performance and compliance with SLAs.
- Experience in providing HR services: HR data management, payroll and labor law compliance across the EMEA region (particularly Germany and France).
- Understanding of HCM systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM) and their impact on HR service delivery.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Problem solving and decision making: Strong analytical skills to evaluate systems problems and develop effective solutions.
