Head of HR Payroll

Key Responsibilities

  • You will assume the professional and disciplinary management of the assigned employees in your area
  • You are responsible for the payroll of several German group companies and are the first point of contact for our internal departments in all payroll-related issues
  • You will also accompany all external audits (income tax, social insurance, auditing, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance is a matter of course for you
  • Within HR, you will work with the other local, regional and global HR Employee Experience units as well as the Business Partners or Centers of Excellence
  • The design and provision of excellent standard processes as well as the continuous development and digitalization of the processes are also your responsibility
  • You create and are responsible for budget and resource planning in your area
  • Furthermore, you promote innovation, positive change, digitalization and live the service concept

Qualification & Requirements

  • Studies in human resources, business administration or comparable course of study
  • Very good knowledge of SAP HCM and ideally SuccessFactors
  • Very good and up-to-date knowledge in the field of wage tax and social security law
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll
  • Experience in HR or a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment
  • management experience is an advantage
  • Lean Management / Lean Admin / Six Sigma or similar training is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English
