Description
The Head of HR Operations will have overall responsibility for the delivery of commercially focussed and professional HR Services for circa 1,000 AtkinsRéalis employees in Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise and oversight of Employee Relations activities to ensure they are fit for purpose, fulfil our legal obligations and add value to AtkinsRéalis. This will include overseeing and where necessary leading on more complex ER cases.
- Manage the HR shared service and payroll vendor.
- Responsibility for the service and standards provided by an off-shored HR Centre in Bangalore.
- Maintaining a customer service culture in Asia and India, ensuring quality and effectiveness of service delivery, whilst driving continuous improvements through the team.
- Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement all HR Shared Service Centre responsibilities, processes and systems to maximize HR related service delivery.
- Analyse HRSS process metrics to measure performance and benchmark services to implement improvement and evidence tangible efficiency savings.
- Ensure robust controls for all employee data held. Act as the lead on behalf of HR for associated data quality, compliance and data management legislation.
- Act as an approved signatory responsible for Asia payroll.
- Manage the relationship interfaces with business, HRBPs, HR delivery streams, legal teams and Centres of Expertise.
- Manage and develop the HR People Operations teams.
- Ensure the continual review and development of the knowledge base.
- Prioritise overall team workload and plan resource utilisation (short, medium, long term).
- Deal with escalated issues from customers/ stakeholders.
- Ensure an effective coaching and training service on case issues is provided for customers.
- Compliance and governance.
- Guide the delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Work with colleagues across the Group to review, improve and develop HR Systems.
Qualification & Requirements
- Business acumen with solution driven mindset.
- Strong intellectual capability inc. highly developed analytical skills.
- Robust independent thinking.
- Ability to gain credibility through demonstrating sound judgement and decision making.
- Ability to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree
- of integrity.
- A significant depth and breadth of generalist HR experience (inc. front line operational experience).
- Experience of off-shored HR Shared Services.
- The ability to identify and manage risk.
- The capability to plan resources and manage conflicting demands and deadlines.
- Flexibility to manage a diverse range of activities across with short, medium and long term deadlines.
- Ability to focus on managing more complex cases.
- Proven success in engaging and developing relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders.
- Resilience to work through issues to conclusion.
- Strong persuasion and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse and remote team.
- Good interpersonal skills inc. the ability to listen.
