Description

You will be responsible for leading our Hire to Retire (H2R) Service Delivery Hub for Asia Pacific, including business and budget responsibility for the assigned countries. The ASP Hub serves more than 150,000 employees in US, Canada, UK, Africa, Middle East, ASEAN, China, Korea and ANZ, across multiple Siemens organizations. This is delivered through a collaborative network of own operations and vendor operations. To push the value-add for Siemens businesses and strengthen the competitiveness of the Business Line “Hire to Retire”, we are running a transformation program with several global and regional initiatives to optimize our footprint of delivery units in the countries, to migrate to leading technologies and digital platforms and to process simplifications.

Key Responsibilities

As the GBS Hub Head for H2R in Asia Pacific (ASP), you will be responsible for leading the regional H2R organization and managing operations and delivering on following objectives

Accountability for H2R operations in the region:

  • Ensure functioning of a stable, consistent, high-quality service delivery engine for all services. Achieve this by managing processes, operations, performance metrics and people and deliver on organizational Business metrics of Productivity, Revenue, Customer Value creation, People Development and Growth

Driving future-ready operations

  • Enable ASP hub to be the Center of Excellence and growth center for all H2R services. Work with other hubs to transition, consolidate and transform additional scope, as relevant.

Customer partnering

  • Identify and manage customer needs together with our H2R Customer Relationship organization and explore additional/ new business potential. Build capability to consult or advise the HR organization on futuristic roadmaps
  • Ensure a high service delivery quality in the region while meeting the aligned budget and headcount figures
  • As a member of the H2R Leadership team, contribute to the future direction of Service Delivery Management through direct insights and business ideas

Qualification & Requirements

  • Looking for 18+ years of expertise in Hire-to-Retire (H2R) services, where consistently played a pivotal role in building, transforming, and scaling high-impact H2R functions.

  • I have a deep understanding of the entire HR Shared Services business. I have senior leadership experience in leading several hundreds of international and diverse people in an international HR Shared Service organization.
  • I have a fair understanding of various HR technologies (HRMS, automation layers and experience driving tools) and how these are evolving to help deliver greater efficiencies and better employee experience.
  • I drive and live the transformation journey. I have extensive experience within the field of project management, and I bring along excellent credentials of operational transformation that has helped build scale of operations as well as thriving customer relationships even in difficult constellations/environments, while achieving the financial goals for the organization.
  • Transforming and leading businesses in a VUCA world requires a broad range of management skills. I have strong business acumen and financial leadership from service volume, cost, saving and profit perspective.
  • I enjoy building relationships with customers and consult/understand the needs and expectations and define the right solutions in collaboration with our Customer Demand Organization and the relevant partners.
  • I thrive in people management roles. I believe in enabling a culture of trust and high-performance and thereby unleashing the full potential of people within my team.
